CASSA Forums
CASSA Forums are forums for our members to use for whatever they like. We welcome discussion on any topic you feel like talking about.
Our best suggestion is to use the forums to talk about your course units. For instance forget that blackboard crap, no one uses it and no one likes it. Come to our forums where you get students not just in the semester your unit is run in but everyone who has ever done the unit, or ever will. Naturally each semester assignments and exams will be different so we will forgive you if you make a new topic for the new semester of the unit. Here you can talk about assignments, such as "such and such question is confusing, what do you guys think the lecturer is asking for here?" or "My code isn't compiling, here's a pastebin link to my code : <pastebin link> what am I doing wrong??" and instead of finding your lecturer replying 6 months later you instead should get fellow students from all different years helping you out. And if that doesn't work, get on CASSA IRC and complain!
Or you can talk about exam preparation. Often you will get a sample exam and its far easier to work through it in a group. Usually CASSA provides a seperate IRC channel for exam study but forums is often easier to use. So talk about the sample exam all you like. Collaborate and answer all the questions of the sample exam collectively. Profit!
Otherwise, use the forums to contribute to CASSA. Often there's discussions on events we hold, games we play, or shows we watch. Have your say, get involved, make CASSA better. It's your forums, its your club!
